There is not a lot of
history to be told about the Idaho State Flag. So
just the basic facts: The Idaho State flag measures five
feet, six inches by four feet, four inches and is bordered by
a gilt fringe two and one half inches wide. On the blue Idaho
state flag,
is positioned the Idaho State Seal. A red banner, three
inches wide and bordered in gold is directly under the seal on
the Idaho State flag. The banner on the Idaho state flag
says, "State of Idaho."
The Idaho State Flag was
adopted by the 1907 state legislature. The Idaho state
flag is one of many state flags to bear the state seal.
The Idaho state flag, like most state flags, also has a
banner. The banner on the Idaho state flag is more
ornate than most. |
